At Roby Mill CE Primary School we aim to help each child to develop his or her full potential with skills, knowledge, attitudes and values which relate to our ever changing world. Prayer and worship are central to school life with the school community contributing to the spiritual and moral growth of the pupils as well as to their intellectual and physical development.

Places are currently available throughout the school. Visits are encouraged, so please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time.


Letter from Mrs Stephens with update regarding the intention to re re-open schools on the 1st June. 

Please find attached a letter from Mrs Stephens regarding the intention to re-open schools following the announcement from the Prime Minister yesterday evening (10.05.2020).

“For our present troubles … produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” 



Please can all menu choices be returned to school on a Friday . These need to be ordered and paid for a week in advance. Spare menus are available in the office

Holocaust Memorial Artwork

We are so proud to announce that our artwork is one of the chosen pieces to be displayed in the national exhibition in London. Well done everyone!

Swimming Gala Winners 2020

We are delighted to announce that we are the Swimming Gala winners 2020. The whole team worked amazingly hard in their events. We are so proud of you all!

Sports Relief Swimming

Our children swam a fantastic 2 and a half miles for Sports Relief. This is an amazing achievement for such a small group of children. Well done everyone.

Music lessons


For students having music lessons, please remember to bring your instruments in on a Monday.

The Closing date for applications for those children starting Reception in September 2020 is the 15th January 2020


We do not have any designated open days, however, you are always welcome to come and visit our small and friendly school and have a look around.
